A couple of years ago I bought a set of rear shocks for my DartCharger. By that time I wasn't aware of the date codes on them. After they arrived to Sweden I was so happy for them. After another two year I found out that the shocks had date codes!! And of caus ethey were wrong for my car!!!!
In this case the shocks were wearing date code 2 D 8 meaning 2 for the month of February, 4 for fourh week ofFebruary and 8 for year 1968. So these shocks is for A-body cars produced between Mid March to late 1968. They would do it for a late produced 1968 or an early built 1969 A-body. Part# is 2240317.
By that time I paid USD 250 + the ride for the set which was fare. There is a set on Ebay right now for USD 565. I just want my money back and prefer to sell it to a FABO member instead of putting them out on Ebay.
