Yes I told Dave my original emblem was all Chrome. So what's the original piece?
Black with chrome face?

The deck lid script was paint filled on the 67 and braded onto the finish panel, and no fish with it.
Everything about 68 deck lid trim is different. I know the OEM 68 script and fish I had here were all chrome. If my memory serves, they are a bit larger than others also.

The 68 Barracuda trunk emblem most of them are the brushed face painted black 90% of them, I also have parted 68 Barracuda's (in the past 35 years) that have had the all chrome ones, not sure why that is.

There was a part shortage in 68 due to a railroad strike. This difference could have been trim level. My 68 had gills and spears, and wheel well trims, and the red reflective tape treatment behind these badges.
All I know for certain is they all had too many badges on them. Pull all the badges from a 67 fish then go around and count her piercings.... damn gurlfriend! No tattoos? LOL
