68 barracuda tail light issue

No one is reproducing them at this time....just not enough demand to justify the cost of tooling and production.
 
Light still goes through and gives the white part a light tint of red when lights are on.
 
Its worse with the brakes on....

A long time ago, a guy at a mopar show at Commerce GA had made his own separators with thin aluminum. This kept the reverse lamp from glowing pink with brake lamps. Its shiny finish made the brake lamp and reverse lamps a tad brighter also. I don't have any details for exactly how he went about it.
 
i thought about using foil tape to isolate the diffuser but the tail light lens itself is kinda small. Not like the 67 and 69 units.

Yep If any of them need a 3rd brake lamp added, its the 68 B'cuda.
