Looking to upgrade my 68' dart to a v8 and decided to use 1974 v8 k-member. Now I would like to improve the frontend handeling sine the car is getting a 400hp small block. I would like to upgrade the frontend for as little coin as possible ( motor sucked up all extra cash). Here is what I have to work with.

Stock 1974 front k-member w/factory suspension.
Rebuilt big bolt disc brakes.
Factory front swaybar.
15X7 mid 70's 'JJ' steel wheels.
Converting from manual to power steering
ordering firm feel box stage II

so I'm looking for a good, but affordable frontend kit
maybe moog or polygraphite kit.
Big torsion bars
good shocks.
Maybe a tie rod upgrade, or something that will help improve the handling.

Any help would be appreciated.

Moog kit or parts ordered seperately
7103 offset upper control arm bushing installed for more caster (not per instructions in box)
1", .99" or so T-bars that are on sale
Hotchkis or Hellwig sway bars
Hotchkis shocks
Order your 11/16 tie rods and adjusters with the Moog parts you order

That's good to know, thank you.

I alreay have a rear .75 diam swaybar and looking to use the hotchkis rear leafs also.
So, you don't recomended kyb's with this combo?
On the rest of the suspenion rubber, where is there a cheap source for that?

I thought there wasn't enough budget left for leaf springs. Are your's shot or for a /6 or something? I'm just trying to go in order for most bang for the buck.

rear springs are dead and no support. The Hotchkis springs have money set away for them and been been sitting and waiting to spend it (think I found a source for them cheaper than list). Since I'm replaceing the rear with an 8 3/4, Doc diff big bolt axles and parts, I figured I would do it all at once and same some extra work down the road. Just trying to get everything ready and affordable. When the suspension front to back is done, I have to start getting funds together for paint and stuff, so I'm trying to get it done in stages.

Thanks again for the help.
