FYI . Those are repos as I have bought some. Close to my originals as possible but no part numbers. I did ask various questions to seller but didn’t get the correct response so I bought them. I will probably get my originals redone just because.

Yea his story is a bunch of BS for sure. The repops are good if you don’t have anything. I’m using them because I’m not going for concours resto. And I figured most guys aren’t as well so those are good for that.

Can’t see part numbers when installed. I can’t see difference, but I don’t have original and these side by side naked eye.

Rechroming could approach cost of these repros. And small part could loose definition is process.

The story is fake to ward off patent lawyers.

I have originals , mine just needed cleaning. These are identical to mine. I was just giving info to all that wanted to purchase those. I will probably rechrome mine to keep them original and sell those. I was hoping they were original so I didn’t have to rechrome the originals.
