Rust is a funny thing. Back in Mo. I had bought cars with NO suspension that had been sitting on the dirt outside for years, and NO rust on frame of floor. Then there were the ones with all sitting on wheels and the floor gone! Go figure!

on the rust, how close is the fuel line to that spot? I had a fuel line going through the torque box on my Mustang that, when it started leaking, washed any protective layers off the torque box and it rusted out quickly. I dont know enough about these Mopars to know where that fuel line is, but its a theory.
