Just trim them. It shouldn't require much.

I had one other thought. You mentioned the housing you picked up was shortened. How much? What i'm trying to say is, make sure it's not going to require "crazy" offset wheels to work with just a mini-tub.

Drill out spotwelds and remove, replace when minitub is done. This is what I did to mine.:DNice car to start with..:burnout:

Rick--It's only shortened a total of one inch each side, nothing major--that's if I use it,Now guy's got me paranoid to weld the back brace to it,I don't understand how u can warp the assembly geez thoses tubes are thick !!!!! --Steve

Looks like you off with a good start.

Nice project! Watching this for sure. Nice you've got a rotisserie. I will need to invest in one of those at some point.

Ok got the thin coat off most of the car with steam pressure washer but the wheel tubs are like concrete !!!!!! Any suggestions???? Dynamite?????? We tried oven cleaner didn't touch it !!!!! Help

Torch, a little heat and a putty knife and it scrapes right off. I does stink and you don't need a lot of heat.

removing undercoating today:

I used an electric heat gun, putty knife, razor blade scraper and lots of elbow.
