That's pretty FUNNY that your unwilling to post the vin# of some bare old block that YOUR trying to sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GLWS
 
It's pretty common practice not to post an entire vin. Some people don't like posting any of them. I'm sure you've seen "XXXXXX" as the last few digits of a vin online before? If not, you're livin under a rock. He's offered to see if it matches. What more do you want? People scam people everyday. Giving a complete vin out only gives them more ammo to scam with.
 
Vins for engines are only valuable if you have the car...No threat of registering a car with an engine vin. He is selling, and Im looking for a 69 340 vin as well, so may as well post it here.

i thought it was kinda strange too...but today with all the scams people come up with it might not be such a bad idea...i guess you can never be to cautious.
 
what is strange is the time it took to post a crazy response you could of pm me you vin and I would see if it matches,,, i'm not posting it,to many A holes on here,,thanks ROB FOR HAVING MY BACK..OH AND IF IT DON'T SELL I WILL BUILD IT..

yes there are guys that do that,,and I wouldn't put it past some on this site to do it that's why i'm not listing it,,,send me your vin and I will see if it matches..sd426

What is the issue with posting the block vin??
Lets say if I was to send you my vin# what is stopping you from restamping it to match the vin I need??
On the other hand you post the vin of the block you have...and now I run around trying to find the car that it belongs to??

Post the last 6 digits if it worries you that much.

If there are that many aholes on here as you say, then why bother selling anything on here??

Is there anything around this place that doesn't get turned into a f#$king free for all pissing contest? Why can't the guy just sell his parts in peace without bein accused of bein a block restamping thief? WTF???
