69 barracuda deck lid switch removal

Hello all I have removed the two switches at the doors unplugged easy enough, but I am trying to remove the similar switch for my deck lid and can’t disconnect? Don’t want to break or cut and resplice. F someone could tell me wher I’m having my problem I would appreciate! Thanks!

Mines just a bullet connector. Try spinning the male side before pulling out. The female side is open along the top if you need to spread it out.

Unscrew the main switch. Depress the plunger adding length and pull out.

As old as the wire is now I understand your concern. This is why I just replaced it all! Hard and brittle it all was and not worth trying to save. That harness and splitter for the truck light it readily available on E-bay daily!
