Not yet. I can put it on the ground tonight and take some photos. I was looking for input on the cuda with 275/60/15's on this forum and could not find many so I thought I would share these.

Sorry about all the question but I'm getting ready to put tires on my 69 barracuda and I'm trying to decide between 255 and 275, I don't have any mods either so I'm curious to see how they look and fit.

Is there any room in wheel size for more backspacing? or to the outside? I guess I am wondering if there is any way to get a 9" wheel under there with the same or more backspacing?
Thanks.

The 275s look good on there with the Cragars. The tire is pretty close in the front. Just so you can compare, here are 255s on my 68.

Hard to say on a 9" wide wheel.

I would guess that for a 8" wheel 5" backspace would be the Max. After that you have to move springs inboard.

9" with more back spacing will need offset hangers. I had 15X8.5" with 4-7/8" backspacing and 275-60-15, had to move the springs but they tucked in nicely.

They were 205-70-15s I believe no problems but it sat pretty high up front. They were on 15X5.5" rims

nice car Adam. I was thinking of moving my springs back to the factory location and was wondering what size wheel i could use. Thinking now selling and try something new, like a 70 Roadrunner.

Racerkilla, what size are those wheels, backspacing, any suspension mods?

i'm pretty sure these are the specs
front wheels, 15x5.5 with backspacing 3 5/16, tires 225/60/15
rear wheels, 15x8.5 with backspacing 3 5/16, tires 295/50/15

front suspension is stock just lowered some with torsion bar adjustment
rear is stock 340s car with 75 pounds in air shocks.

What kind of clearance do tou have between the tire and leaf spring. Got a pix? one finger, two finger?

i would say a finger and half between tire and spring, i did cut the corner of my traction bar back plate so it wouldn't hit the tire
