Hello, I'm trying to determine if there are different lengths between the column housings & tubes of a manual steering vs P/S. The application is 69 Swinger 4 spd . I took a apart a pretty sad 4 spd column out of 69 with manual steering and they measure 29" See pictures..I believe the internal tube is missing an inch or so from rust? Does anyone know if a P/S steering housing & tube are the same length as the manual?? I know the steering shafts are different lengths from manual to P/S so I don't need that clarified.

Thanks

Ok thanks. I have a 69 Swinger automatic steering column with column shift for P/S and that housing is 2.5 " longer than the manual steering 4 spd in the picture. I guess the auto column shift is a different length for the shift tube??
