69 DART GTS "440" Hood Insert Badges

These are a pair of "440" thin aluminum badges that self adhered onto the 383 Hood Inserts. They covered the "383" on the hood insert and were usually found in the glove box unless the selling dealer had installed them over the "383" prior to sale.

These are old but I'm not sure they are original, however they are identical to the original. as compared sided by side. They were never installed or removed from the original backing. $250 obo

Since 69 Barracudas did not have any kind of hood inserts, I am kind of puzzled. 68s had hood inserts, of course, but they didn't have the 440 available. So I think we can assume that these are not factory parts. But they would be neat if you did have a big block 67 or 68.

440 callouts would be M code, but like abv said there were no hood callouts of any kind on a 69 cuda....hood scoops and thats it. Like 73abodee said, maybe for the 69 dart??
