69 dodge dart glovebox striker

I went through this about a year ago....talk about a pain! I'll try to find some pictures.
I'm guessing these are not correct.
Is there a different catch if you have a lock vs no lock?

Question.... Is the glove box door that you have the original one including the latch itself?

I will look through my bucket of glove box parts this weekend and see if I can find a striker for that style door.

My 67, the catch is the dash frame. I know 67 has the different door and the 68 up door has the piano hinge.
My lock is a rotation type.
Is 68 up different?

The catch looks like it should mount to the dash frame and the the latch is push button
Is your latch like either of these?
Definitely not the one attached to the door
Reason I'm asking is are you sure you need the wire catch with that type of latch
