69 dodge dart glovebox striker

Myself, this would have been an opportunity to flex my fabrication skills...
Especially being inside the club box...
Of course, unless I was planning on taking it to pebble beach for a car show that required something like that...

I agree! Just wasn’t sure what should be there cause it’s been missing since my dad had it. I couldn’t even find a picture of what it looked like.

I had the other kind of latch on my duster, the one that you don't have that grabs something and I made it out of a coat hanger wire where I curled the the two ends for the screws and made it the right length after a couple tries... i actually made it a little big, so the glove box door would hang open a half inch, as that's where I had my msd box and my msd start/retard, switch for nitrous... i figured that would let air circulate in and out, so the box wouldn't get hot...
I eventually found the correct one, but, I never did use it..

I worked at a scrap yard for 18 years and went down there to see if anything was even close. All were the wire/rod type. Glad I was able to find one. Paid out the nose for it though
