69 Fender tag quest

The info you all share here has already helped a lot..... a question on my fender tag.
on the MyMopar site I entered the info to decode the tag.

It shows Export but I have the warranty card and the factory installed A/C card from the dealer who was in NJ. Could it be a mistake? Build month shows Sept, as they only built 1440 convertibles you think this could have been one of the last A body Barracuda convertibles to roll off the line?

Hey Spike. My convertible starts with VIN 130***. But I have seen another convertible with a 2*****. The guy I bought my car off said the previous owner to him had lost the fender tag and buildsheet was long gone as well. All I know is that it was definitely a slant six car.

F98 a typo, it is actually part of your VIN - F9B

F - 318

9 - 1969 Model year.

B - Assembly plant, Hamtramck, MI

There are issues with whatever decoder you used as well.

OK, jut got back on island and hate to just ask you who know here to do the heavy lifting but I didn't have a lot of luck on the tag decoder I used. here is the fender tag and any assistance you can provide, or tell me where to go, hahaha! I appreciate it!

Hey Spike, just for your info, another couple of convertible's popped up on e-bay today. One with VIN 337439. Originally a slant six car and B5 or B7 blue. The other one is blue as well with a 318.

Last 6 digits on my vert fender tag are 352197. Not sure what that means...

Actually, your car is an early build '69 Barracuda vert.
The 908 is the scheduled build date which is September 8th, 1968.
They started building cars for the '69 model year in late August 1968.
The realitively low sequence number in the V.I.N. supports this.

Thanks, yeah the issue was my old eyes got a B and an 8 confused! I grew up near the old Dodge Main plant, can't believe I finally got a car that started life just down the street and now it is all the way out here in Micronesia..........

Cool, thanks Gerald. I see that the build date is 9th August. It must only be a few days after mine. I haven't seen any built earlier yet. It would be good to keep track of the list of them so far. Have you entered yours into the registry yet?
An interesting colour combo too by the way i.e. white body, red interior, black top. Nice!
