69 GTS & Swinger 340 stripe

Hi guys,
I need to order the tail stripe for my 69 Swinger 340. I always thought the black stripes were matte black from the factory, but the vendor called and told me they were originally glossy black, not the matte black that I ordered.
Who is correct? I want what the car came from the factory with.

Hey George -
The original stripes were a glossy vinyl. Surely not as glossy as base/clear paint but much more of a shine than a matt finish.
My original '69 340 Swinger was red with a white stripe and shined up very well, but you could tell it was not as shiny as the paint.
