69 Swinger 340 4 speed sticks in reverse??

My Dart has recently has an issue when trying to get it out of reverse, it takes a few minutes of moving the shifter around, depressing the clutch, and finally it will pop out, anyone had this issue before??:?

probably in need of a linkage adjustment

Where do you make that adjustment, i guess it gets loose over time?

if it were close it could have worn/loose and becomes tough to shift

Is it hard to get into or out of any other gears?
If not it's probably just the linkage adjustment needed.

No only gets stuck in reverse, i hope it is the linkage

Yup, shifter linkage, I'll bet......mine used to do the same thing.

Mine did the same before tightening everything up and adjusting linkage
