Hi everyone, could somebody tell me where I can find a new gasket for my 7.25" diff cover. Or point me in the right direction to find one at a auto parts store or even an online store that might have one for sale?

Here's one.

Apply sealant to cover, let it sit for a few minutes then install.
I find if it dries just a bit it seals better. No more than 10 minutes though.

There ain't no way I would ever use a paper gasket. That RTV will outlast you.

It's good stuff! My only complaint with using grey on sheet metal like rear axle covers is, it works so good that you can bend the cover getting it back off. lol

I just use a good thin putty knife, pound it in and they come off. It is tougher to get off when cleaning.

Thanks guys, I have a tube of the grey stuff, works really good too.

Use some carb cleaner, acetone, laquer thinner, etc. to get all the oil off before sealing.
I dont like rtv for the reason mentioned. You cant get the cover off without it bending.
I use paper gasket and indian head gasket shellac. Seals good and you can get it off for service.
