Great Story and great job getting that car back on the road again. Good to see it was not parted out like so many of these cars are when they need a lot of rust repair etc. done to them. Car is looking awesome. Always loved the FY1 Top Banana and black color combo on the 70 Swinger 340 and a factory 4 speed makes it even better. Great job and keep us updated!

I decided to replace my instrument bezel and paint the dash. Ideally removing the dash frame is best. But I didn't want to get that extensive.

Thank you, it has been a lot of work. I have really enjoyed driving her again and brings me back to being 16. Just a flood of memories ....

The dash turned out pretty nice. I used the correct PPG suede textured paint. Here is a pic of the glove box.

I like. These are fun cars to drive. When I had my 70 Swinger in primer, it drew looks when I drove down the road. Some were nods of approval, some were "What the hell is that? honey get the kids off the sidewalk"

I buffed the lenses and bought a new bezel from Classic Industries..

My original hood had some frame damaged do to a stuck hood hinge. So I found another hood. I just need to finish up the scoops.
