70 340 SWINGER MAX TIRE SIZE

I have an original 1970 340 SWINGER. The car has the original 14 inch rally wheels. The car currently has 225/60-14 tires. What is the largest tire that will fit the factory wheel wells? I think I can fit 245/60-14 safely.

Sure , with a 14 x 7 wheel...

245/60-14 is the biggest i know of. still tight on the springs but work well..

here is mine years ago with a 245/60-14. large bolt pattern but when the car was small bolt it had the same tires.

On the back of my 70 Dart I'm running a 15x7 with 4 1/4 back space and the tire is a 255/60-15.

235/60 would fit with no problems.
