70 Dart Console

I have been educated to the fact that I actually have to have a "4 speed " console which is probably going to be hard to find but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

70 dart, are they the same as 69 cuda?? If so, use an auto one and modify the top plate. 340plot has a thread about one he did.

Chk limelites pic out above, that is an auto console, the 4spd will have a dbl humped cutout. Also the top plate will be different to accomodate the boot. Not sure what the dbl hump is for on the 4spd console, could be for easier service access.

i modified my own, and you do not need a 4 speed console even if you use just the top plate from a 4 speed car. at leat mine has plenty of room where the single hump is cut
