I'm ready to put a headliner in my Dart. The body shop removed the headliner and tossed the bows in the trunk. I see they have small differences in length. And the ends are painted different colors. Does anyone know what order they go?

It's a 1970 Dart Swinger two door.

In some models, the order is listed in the factory service manual. Do a search in the interior section for "listing wire"
I dont believe the manual has that detail

Some years do: Not sure about a '70 though. I haven't looked.

I went through the 1970 Dart service manual, the body and electrical assembly manual and the Chassis assembly manual and I am surprised to say that information is not in any of them. Bummer...

Maybe the best thing to do is install the listing wires in the sockets without the headliner attached and see how they look. Don't forget the two thin wire retainers from the roof frame that hold the rear most one in the correct place!

They'll fit in any location. The difference in length isn't much. I was just hoping someone had a definite answer on where they go. The service manual doesn't specify anything and there is mixed info when I searched online.

Or you could look at my post #4 and follow the link. This is info I found searching this forum. It worked.
