[WANTED] 70 Dart Manual Steering Floor Shift Steering Column

Hi, I have a 70 dart swinger 340 and want to change over to automatic on the floor so I need a different steering column i am told.. also it is manual steering not power....let me know what you have, thanks, Al

You can just Change the collars on the column. I was told 70 was a specific year. Something about a hole that is not present on a 70 column. But if you are not doing a numbers matching resto it may not matter to you.

No, you cant. the manual shaft is about 3" longer.

you can take the shaft out of your current column and use it in the manual shift floor column...

I have one from a 73 duster, manual shift, manual steering.

70 is a one year column. There is no interlock to get the key out. 71 and up have the lever you must depress to remove the key.
