I am starting to cut and buff my car and test fit emblems and I had the quarter panel emblems in place.
I never gave it much thought but I wondered "whatever made them think to put emblems right under the rear window?"
I mean the 71 Dart Swinger Fender placement seems common now but anyway.
One thing I thought was when at a stoplight and you look over at a 340 Swinger its right there for you to see along with the 340 scoop callout.
Either way the 70is unique that way. Mine also has the "Dodge" cursive hood script and trunk emblems.
I have seen redone 70s with no emblems at all so someone must not have preferred them.
Any thoughts? Which do you like the 70 or 71 emblem placement?
