70' Dart Swinger Rallye Dash mystery hole ??

Can someone please tell me what goes in the large hole to the right of the radio on my 1970 Rallye Dash...I've looked at pictures here on FABO and it seems to be some type of chrome pull knob. Thanks in advance for the help.

Its a cigarette lighter. The '70 cars could have as many as 3. There was a thread on here awhile back, maybe I can find it.

I thought thats what it looked like but since theres already one in the ashtray I was baffled.

Yeah, as it was explained in the other thread there were a few years that could have up to 3 lighters. One in the ashtray, one in the dash and another one in the console.

Nowadays they can all be used as power ports for phone chargers, iPods, laptops, etc. Charge all of your electronic goodies at the same time.

I guess I'll have to start searching for a nice looking cigarette lighter or st a power port plug.
