If that 's a 1970 model year Duster, he's outfitted the car with parts that make the car resemble a 1971 Duster 340 (sans the fake - tacked on - hood scoops).

The factory 1970 Duster 340 was the first of it's kind, and was more plain, but in a very purposeful way.

It did not need tacked on - fake hood scoops - the performance was what the car was all about.
