70 Duster console for A/C

I have an a-body 70 and up console, it has a squared off nose on it, would this be for an air conditioned car.

That's for a car with dealer-installed AC (an add-on "knee knocker" system), a standard console will fit a car with factory AC.

yes it is a factory console for AC. You can use a standard console but all AC cars I stripped over the years with a console had the squared off nose. Probably to give room for air flow more then hitting the unit. I stripped mostly 70 71 cars . But one of the consoles was a 68 with no lid lock. So at least 68 and later that I can confirm.

When they installed the after market AC they would just cut the front off easily seen by no rounded corners. The factory squared off were made that way. Do you want to sell that AC console body .
