FOR SALE: 1970 Plymouth Duster

THE GOOD: Was originally a 6 cylinder, 3 speed car. Now has V8 K-frame and 3 or 4 speed hump and 8 3/4 rear. All glass is in good shape and still installed. Front suspension was rebuilt several years ago. 8 3/4 rear housing and springs (no center section) with new bushings, again several years ago. 6 cylinder torsion bars still in car. Body is in fair shape. Nice shark tooth grille in the car, complete with bezels and lenses. There is a small crack near the bezel, but nothing bad. Dash is okay, but no pad. Bumpers are decent cores and are installed on the car still.

THE BAD: The lower quarter panels need to be repaired. They were repaired before I got the car over 20 years ago, but need to be cut out and repaired. The roof has some slight damage as does the front fender. Nothing terrible, but noteworthy. The car was going to be a street/strip car, so the interior is gone. I do still have some parts for the interior (sail panels, kick panels and maybe some other things). Tires will be okay to load onto a trailer or to tow a short distance. One of them will lose air after about a week.

I have a 360 that can go with the car. It's a 74 block (11/4/74) and is standard bore and has a standard crank. It has been honed, has new cam bearings and main bearings. Needs to be re-assembled. Stock standard 360 pistons and connecting rods. 392 oil pan included. No camshaft, rod bearings, heads, intake or timing set.

Asking $2200 OBO for the car and the engine. Will not separate at this time. Partial trade considered for a nice set of X heads.

Located in Maryland.

PM with questions or for more pictures.

If only i were closer!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Make an offer. It needs to go soon. Pick up when visiting Chryslers at Carlisle, only 45 minutes away.

Back in march you said you weren't willing to sell the car without the motor and trans. Are you willing to sell it as a roller now? If so, how much? I have a 360 with a 727 already, so no need for another drivetrain. Thanks!

Now willing to separate or still available as a package. Also accepting offers.

wow, still for sale? This has been here for a long time. Good deal too! No takers? I'll bump ya too.

out of curiosity though, how much are you asking without the 360 block?

also, more pics might help the sale (pics of the inside, engine bay, etc.)
