70 swinger

70 swinger with 8 3/4 rear (stock a-body) springs in original location. without cutting or moving anything, any suggestions on how big i can go for wheels/tires??? just killing time this morning---- i plan on getting the percy wheel tool but thought id ask anyways. thanks,walt

Do a search and you'll have more info than you know what to do with. Read all the posts (as I did) and it will educate you, so you understand all the ins & outs, trade-offs of tire size etc.

What size wheel? 225 60 15 all the way around is the biggest rotatable tire. 245/60/15 is the biggest in the rear.

You can get a 255 in the back with the right offset rim.

If you move just the springs with a offset kit you can get a 275 back there.
