I am building a 70 340 dart swinger w/A833 and a Lakewood bellhousing with a few concerns. I purchased a new pilot bushing that fits loosely in the crank, falls out w/ clutch alignment tool. worn crank orifice?? also, this Lakewood "scatter shield" is 1/8 inch deeper than the stock bellhousing including the back plate. how will this affect the functions of the fork, throwout bearing and penetration of the input shaft into the block.
