Hello got a 440 and a conversion kit i need to no what rear end is stock in this car???? Also have a 426 block commercial??????with sone angeled spark pluggs??????

A 71 Dart would have either a 7.25 or a 8.75 rear stock

Tnks. So they did have bolth rear ends in that year.

Yes they did but if your going to be running a big block and you have a 7 1/4 in it now then I'd be looking for an 8 3/4 "real" soon . lol .. Oh Yah , Welcome to the site David !

Welcome to FABO, most likely you have the 7 1/4'' rear in yours.
The quick way to tell is a 7 1/4'' rear is SMALL and has a rear cover on it and the 8 3/4'' has a gearset that comes out of the front and a round, smooth, appearance when looking from the back of the car.
