What 4- speed manual trans. would I need for my 71 demon with 383? Clutch pedal and linkage all there for manual from factory. Thanks

the factory A-833 /23 spline/SHORT tailshaft is tough to beat!.....more than likely will need to change bellhousing,flywheel,crosshaft,clutch/pressureplate assembly for B motor (big block)...might I suggest the Mccloud 10.95..

if it is motor mounts you need to buy new clutch linkage from brewers performance. you will also need the A833 4 spd. 10'5 inch flyweel/ clutch with 10.5 inch bell housing. get an A body 4spd though. your tranny cross member will work fine.
if your engine is in the car with motor plate, odds are you will need a hyd clutch, and you can go 10.5 or 11 inch bell or flywheel
you can buy everything from brewers performance. thats where I got me BB clutch linkage. then I found out the part numbers of everything else i needed from there parts, and looked for them here.
