71 Demon possible sale

-
As we all know, Asking price is not the sales price in almost all cases.

Here is a fairly reliable source that tracks actual sales prices from real sales:

http://collectorcarpricetracker.com/...ars/1971-1971/
The sale prices listed above at the higher end reflect the following: well restored factory H code 340 cars, with a variety of equipment, ownership history and documentation.

Here is the sales info. for a similar car - 1971 Demon V-8, manual tranny, nice resto. - sales price was $7,789:

Also, try NadaGuides:

http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1971/Dodge/Demon/2-Door-Coupe/Values

Bottom Line: The car is worth only what a buyer will pay...that said, the final price has to take into consideration many factors, including condition, originality, quality of parts and materials, documented ownership history.

it depends a lot of guys are looking for real H code demons so they wont even look. you would have to say 20K and see how bad people beat you up and haggle, interior needs work, no ralley dash ect.. most correctly restored real 340 demons seem to sell in the low to mid 20's very few are in the high 20's to 30K, I'm talking real sales not auction bid BS... i can take my demon to auction and have him bid it all the way up to $100 dollars of my reserve even though no one has actually bid on the car (look at there fine print). then say look it was at auction and went to 33K i'll give you a deal at 29K!!!
