71 Demon Strut Rod Bushings?

Rebuilding the front suspension on my 71 Demon. The strut rod bushings that came with my PST kit are 1 piece. The ones I took off were 2 piece. Could you take a look at this picture and tell me if I have the bushing and washers orientated correctly? Thanks Warren

Looks correct to me. Insert the bushing into the K member and assemble them just like you have them. 65'

They're right but I think you'd be much better off with some of the ones with the spherical rod ends instead of any bushings.

I believe the smaller end of the bushing goes in first. Opposite of what you have in the picture.

I think once they're squished, it doesn't really matter which direction they were installed.
