71 Demon What is this trunk/seat belt hole for?

Hey Guys,

Pulled the rubber mat out of my 71 Demon yesterday in preparation for carpet. In the back on the passenger side where the back seat belt bolts to the trunk floor, is a hole with a bolt in it. The bolt does not attached to anything. It's just stuck in the hole. Does anyone know what this hole is for? Please see attached pic. It's right by the seat belt bolt.

Optional center seatbelt maybe , my 73 dart sport only has two rear seat belts , i store my car at a persons house in there garage so cannot look right now.

I think that might be for the original retractor mechanism that used to go there.
The center belts just bolted down solid and the two side belts had retractors.

Pretty sure.

That's the optional flux capacitor bolt. You car's rare. Maybe a one of one.

Thanks, I'll have to check closer. It it were for seat belts, it wouldn't the hole be threaded like the other? It isn't, it's just a hole.

Offhand, I'd say that is not factory......................
