71 Duster not starting

I changed out the alternator on my Duster. The car ran before I changed it out.I hooked the new one up according to the diagram some one on here sent me. Now, the car cranks bur does not start. What is going on here? Help

have you checked for spark out of the coil? got fuel ?

I have fuel going in. didnt check spark.car ran before I changed the alternator. Its been a week

see if you have spark out of the coil first. make sure your grounds are solid. battery to block to body.

Isn't part of the alternator circuit, but you probably broke it when working on the alternator. I am guessing a slant six engine.

The car has a 318.The old owner basically made my life a living nightmare. But, I will bring the car back. Just time and plenty of help.
