Will a 71 Power steering column fit a 64 Valiant? I will be doing a switch over from manual steering to power steering at a later date. So i am looking for what will work. I checked the prices for a Borgeson universal is kind of pricey.

Not without major mods. The floor plate and dash mountings are totally different. The '70 and newer columns have the ignition switch inside whereas the '69 and earlier are in the dash. The diameter of the column is bigger from'70-on too. The length of the center shaft is different also. Like I said, major mods to get it to work.
