72 340 4spd TX9 and 73 340 4spd Triple black Cudas. What are they worth?

-

O/T everytime a 72-74 black Cuda post comes along, I'm always thinking of this video.

Hope things work out for you 4fortydemon.

Wow Ron! That video is of these exact cars. The 2nd car that he looked over is the one that I posted pictures of. I recognized it as soon as I saw the guages on the column. Thank you for the video!

To be honest, I remember even another similar post about black cudas (they seem to congregate together!). It wasn't those and
I don't remember the forum though.

Well, I spoke to the guy that made these videos. They are in fact the cars that I've been interested in. He gave me a ton of info regarding these and he personally knows the seller. I'm out.
The other car got sandblasted and set outside. Now it's all rusty. (That would have been the one on the rollback in the video) the other one with the vinyl top needs every piece of sheet metal according to him.
Roof has a "softball sized hole" ,the list goes on.

He offered 5k a piece and the seller got pissed and said that he won't let the pair go for less than 20k including all the parts.

So, nothing ventured, nothing gained. As I mentioned before, it didn't matter to me either way if I got them or not. You guys know, most of the fun is the chase itself.

Thank you all for commenting and especially Ron for posting that video. That saved a 5 hr round trip that likely would have been a wasted trip.

In the video when they opened the door on the rollback car, the seam at jamb and 1/4 panel... OOOOFFFFF

Doggy style RUFFFF

Was the person the video guy spoke with the owner or the family member trying to off them from the estate?

He was just a family friend. He's been trying to buy them for awhile but they're too much money and too much work for a 72 and 73. Granted TX9 340 4spd definitely makes it better, but at the end of the day, it's still not a big desirable car imo.

Not a black fan
Lime or plum ......
And the 72 with a 73 dash....how do you register that

They had a correct vin made from all the documents they had. Apparently wasn't cheap either.
I like black cars, pita to keep clean... I hate lime green though. Too over done
..lol

Ouch that's why I import mine from the south west
