72 A body fender

K my question is for my Demon I have markers of a 72 in the front fenders but i want to put the 71 Marker lights Is it possible to just pop in the different recepticle or do i have to modify the panels??

71 lights sit in resecced groove and would be hard to duplicate

Ah were resessing the 72 marker lights kinda interesting

i have some spare 71 fenders that are rusted out at the bottoms but i could cut out the marker surround, if you wanted to weld them in.
