'72 Dart hood scoop measurements

Installing original scoops on my Dart and need some measurements as to their placement on the hood. Rear of scoop to rear of hood, outside of front of scoop to outside of hood. I could buy a template for $30 but I refuse to buy something I will only use once.[-(

check to see if your hood is pre-drilled on the under side.


arrow points to the rear of the hood...

if you center these rear most holes the others will fall right into place.

If you have the holes in the understructure, here's a tip

Grab a 1/4 drive socket that fits snuggly in the hole and use it as a guide to center your 1/4" drilled hole in the surface.

thats how i centered my rear most holes..
