Hello all,
I am looking for the polished stainless trim piece for the leading edge of a 72 Demon hood. (see photo if needed)
I prefer new or like new except for polishing if it is needed. My Demon has less than 40K original miles and the one on there has some damage that might be repairable but I would prefer to install a new one and keep the old one as a spare. Please provide a good clear picture if possible.

Maybe post a picture of the damage to yours because if yours is in need of minor repair and someone has one in the same condition they won’t be trying to sell you what you already have.

Thanks for the suggestion. I considered that and I did attach the best picture I had of the hood with the trim piece on it. However, I'm new to FABO and I didn't see a way to be able to zoom in and scan across the trim piece to see the damage. There are two noteable spots. One is a flattened area on the leading edge about the thickness of a 2x4. The other is a sharp dent on the leading edge like it had been prick punched. I don't recall how far back these happened and what caused either of them. Mine has never been polished to a chrome or mirror like finish. The trim around the headlight housings are brighter than the trim on the hood. Thanks again for responding.

Let me look. I think I have a mint one. It's in the top of one of my tool boxes. Didn't want it to get damaged.

That would be great. Before you go through too much effort, do you have an idea of what your are looking for cost wise. And i assume it will require some extra packaging the way shipping service handle things today. Unless of course you don't live far from Houston TX. LOL
