The duster was sprayed with the dupont chromabase paint system.

The primer was just dupont epoxy primer, and dupont sealer, and very light grey primer.

The base coat was 2009 hemi orange pearl coat. The car was shot with 3 coats of base and 4 coats of clear.

The duster was wet sanded with 400, then 800, then 1000, then 2000.

The doors, fenders, trunk lid, hood and spoiler were taken off and sprayed after the shell was sprayed. The hood is going to be sprayed with hot rod black also the spoiler.
Thanks
Nick

Very nice paint. What are your plans for the car?:coffee2:

There are many things getting done, the rear is 8 3/4 which is relocated 3 inches inboard to fit big tires most likely Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pros 29 -15.5 - 10. The trunk got a RCI 15 gallon fuel cell, and an ACCEL Battery box.

The interior is brand new. Scat Pro car seats with G-Force 5 pt harness. Custom made door panels. The dash has an insert for the guages All Autometer. Shift Light. Grant steering wheel.
I will post pictures of the dash because i made many changes from the original dash.

The engine was original 318 took that out and bought a 69 340 original. this was a virgin block. this engine is stroked now with Scat stroker kit. Kevko racing oil pan. Lunati solid camshaft, lunati solid lifters, RHS heads, Edelbrock Airgap intake. Quickfuel 750 carburator
This engine is getting dynoed next week hopefully making 525+ hp and around 550 for torque.

soda blasted all the front suspension, all new brakes thanks to Doctor Diff fronts have disc rear have drum all big bolt pattern. replaced all the front suspension with polygraphite rebuild kit from PST.

The exhaust is a set of Hooker super competition headers and 3 inch flowmaster super 10 series mufflers dumped at the rear.

Thank you. Now all of this has to go on the car. i will post more pics as i make progress.

Thanks Nick
