72 Duster Exhaust Diagram/Schematic/Routing ..

Hi All,

I'm going to be installing a exhaust system in a 72 Duster. The drive line combo is ..... 318, A230 (3speed manual) with regular 8 3/4 rear with no spring relocated. My main question is, does anyone have photos (or advise) of this combo (or maybe 4 speed manual)? My main concern is, where the driver side exhaust comes down off the engine manifold (factory, not HP factory manifold) I'm trying to envision/foresee, is, how the exhaust pipe will fit between the starter .... torsion bar .... and 3 speed linkage?

What would you recommend? Very much appreciated.

I can share the shop manual images of the same setup from a 69 A body. It will give you a good idea. It is pretty easy how they did it. Small pipe, tight bends and/or crushed segment of pipe.

Thanks and by the way, Accurate sells a complete 318 dual conversion. Might pop on to their site and check it out.
