Is there any real difference in these switches? I thought mine just needed to be cleaned up and lubed , but when I opened it up the flat pieces inside were chewed up. I just bought a nos one on ebay that looked the same but I notice that there are a few different part numbers. Prices range from 40 to 300. The only difference that I can see is one of the connectors is in a slightly different position. Does anyone know if there is any difference

I don't recall differing applications listed for the 5-button switches. In your car, there should be free wires going to the spade lugs, so a little shift shouldn't matter. Perhaps that terminal bumped into something in later cars, or there was a combi-plug.

My 65 Newport had a 4-button pneumo switch (no factory AC), which was impossible to find. I ended up rigging a 5-button switch so it worked. I had to figure out how the vacuum ports switched.
