I don't think you can use that same trick because the ridge will interfere. Only use that ridged plate on a three plate direct drum. You already evened things out.
OK but I mean let's say you are somewhere and you come across an empty drum. Is there a spec somewhere you can measure and figure what they are? Identify them?From the snap ring groove down, you can see the difference. Once you see them side by side.

Sorry, my mistake, I looked again and it had 4 disc .062 .Are you saying that you only have three .062 clutches in the rear drum? Or did somebody stick .092s in there?
