I have a recent rebuild. The issue is that my dart doesnt coast down hills in drive seems like something is causing drag. If i put it neutral going down a hill the car picks up speed. If i leave it in drive it loses speed. Anyone have any thoughts:wack:

It's called engine braking, and it is supposed to do that.
Do you have low gears?
My car takes a pretty good grade to speed up.

It has 3:21 gears . Ok then I will not be concerned Thanks

My 67 runs about 3300 at 70, 3.7x gears, and tall tires. I am flat AMAZED at how much engine braking there is. Just go off the freeway and let off, almost like a 4 speed in 3rd
