727 question

Putting together my727. Have a transact transbrake valve body. My son is going to run in foot brake. Should I leave transbrake valve body or put a turbo action reverse manual that I have.

I would say that depends on the "rules makers" at your local track. T brake will have to be hooked up to engage reverse.... I would think that as long as there was no two step hooked up they would be ok with it.... but that's up to them. I wouldn't think there would be an issue as it's pretty obvious when a car comes up on the t-brake

We plan to leave off foot brake. Looking to see if anyone has run a trans brake valve body but left off foot brake

yes..i have for a few races.... trans works just fine without engaging the brake...just might need to hit button for reverse depending on model of brake.

had to get low gear set out of trans...LOL
