Hey guys,
I have a 727 Transmission with Pk3515844l33169117 stamped on the drivers side. I’m trying to figure out what year this transmission is along with parts I’ll need to replace the front and rear seals on the transmission. I am new to building cars, thank you and have a great day.

Date code 3316 is August 26,1970.
Early 71 - 727 transmission.

Ok awesome thank you guys. I noticed it leaking out of the front of the transmission any idea what seal kit would be the best fit?

Or possibly a rebuild kit for it, I have been looking on summit but can’t figure out which one to use.

It might be best not to order anything until you've got it apart. Once that is done and you've inspected everything you will then know what to order. From what I'm reading you are only looking to replace the front seal and the rear seal. If that's the case and you think that's all you need, you should be able to go to your local transmission shop and get those two seals without much problem. IF however, you're thinking of rebuilding it, then you have lots of options to choose from.
