I hope someone has a good idea on how to do the INSIDE window fuzzies.
After destroying my already bad drivers plastic door upper frame, I know what won't work.
My drivers side was roached bad, so I tried to get the old strip off.
Every time I made a little progress the black plastic would break.
I have a fair passenger side and a parts car driver side part I want to keep from breaking.
These grab the plastic inside edge very aggressively all the way from front to back.
Any ideas?

If you are replacing them with new, I would cut them off with a small stone cut off wheel on a dremel. Reach behind and cut the flat metal hooks off. Destroy the whiskers and save the panels.

If the panels are dry and break easy. Make a pattern of of the plastic panel flange out of paper . Take thin aluminum or very thin strip of metal and make strips with the oval holes . Use an epoxy JB weld quick set to glue them on the back side.

So when you replace the whiskers the metal strip will reinforce the plastic. Its what I would do and have done in the past with similar repairs. When ever I replace a plastic tab that is broke on an old part I always reinforce them with a thin sheet of metal. I saved large pieces of paper thin sheets from old lighting years ago. You can cut it with a good scissors.

You can also repair your old panel using that method and with the strips on the back and fill the void in with JB weld quick set. Then clean the holes out .

Thanks, that is about what I thought, cut the old one off and repair what is needed.
