hey guys, are there any threads on removal and installation of rear drum brake?

Best advice I can give is disassemble 1 side at a time, so you have the other one to look at.....

#1 - what he said..

don't know of any threads, but there are some you tube vids. I did not see one for your brakes, but most are similar. You can get special spring tools, but vise grips work good too. I know a lot of guys use diag cutters, but I don't like knicks in springs... Top two springs come off first. they pretty much hold everything together. shoe retainers are just 1/4 turn and watch for where the parts go. Other than that its mostly just get everything back where it came from. (point #1). When reassembling, should lube the 6 contact points to the back plate. Oh and use jack stands - you will end up working with your head under the wheel well.

Got a digital camera?? Take a couple of pictures of them before you take them apart. Print them and use them for reference to put them back together.

It isn't a difficult job at all.

I put back together, its just that the lever is not in the correct position to engage the starwheel. I know about the left handed and right handed threads, I think I have that correct. The lever is up way too high its more like almost above the star wheel. Please help, thanks

Looks like you have everything on right. Did you adjust them with the drums on yet? A little bit of movement in the shoes could change the lever position. Also give the horseshoe clip a little pinch with a needlenose.
